Creating a DIY eucalyptus bouquet for your bathroom shower is super easy. And the best part? It brings lots of wellness benefits for you, and it will make you feel like you’re in a spa.
The first time I saw a eucalyptus bouquet in a bathroom shower was on Pinterest, and it caught my eye because it looked very aesthetic, and then I started to research the trend, and it turned out to have good benefits for your health as well.
Since that moment, I decided to have my eucalyptus bouquet in the shower and make this moment of the day a very relaxing one. Read on to know more and also to know my secret to make this experience at home even more Zen.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF HAVING A EUCALYPTUS BOUQUET IN THE BATHROOM SHOWER?
Eucalyptus has some remarkable benefits for your health. Also, it has been used for a long time in aromatherapy. But the magic of using it in the shower goes beyond just the fact that it smells good.
The eucalyptus leaves are commonly used to create oils that contain benefits such as nasal decongestants, helps to reduce pain, improves oral health, and so on.
But what happens in the shower when hanging a eucalyptus bouquet is that the hot water helps release all these benefits from its leaves in the air. As a result, you’ll breathe not only fresh air but reap all of the health benefits I mentioned before.
BENEFITS OF HAVING A EUCALYPTUS BOUQUET IN THE SHOWER
IT WILL TURN YOUR BATH INTO A ZEN ZONE
While taking a shower, you will breathe fresh minty air from the eucalyptus bouquet. So that will help you relax.
IT WILL BOOST YOUR RESPIRATORY SYSTEM
The steam from the eucalyptus plant helps the respiratory system. That steam helps to clear your breathing airways and to keep your nasal passages flowing.
It comes in handy if you suffer from sinusitis or if you get colds often.
IT CAN HELP YOU REDUCE PAIN
I did a little digging, and I found out that inhaling eucalyptus during the shower can help to reduce pain. According to the research, what it does is reduce the sensation of pain someone can experience after surgery or certain types of chronic diseases.
My secret for having a very relaxing time in the shower is to swallow a full dropper of CBD Oil right before the bath to experience a peaceful moment along with the effects of the eucalyptus.
CBD Oil is a natural ally that helps to reduce stress symptoms producing a relaxing effect on the body. Click here to know more about it.
CREATE YOUR OWN EUCALYPTUS BOUQUET FOLLOWING THESE EASY STEPS.
• Buy 1 or 2 fresh eucalyptus bouquets. You can either select them individually or purchase the entire bouquet from your favorite store.
• Separate the bouquet and clear the leaves. Make a selection of the best branches.
• You will need a string to wrap the bouquet to the showerhead. I recommend using a large one so it’s easier to tie everything together.
• You can also use a rubber band to wrap the bouquet while you wrap the string (so you avoid any leaves from falling).
• Use each end of the string to tie the bouquet with the showerhead.
• Put the eucalyptus bouquet under the showerhead, but not directly under the water.
Change the bouquet when you stop smelling eucalyptus or once a month.
Mucho amor, Michi!
